Introduction

We are a WW2 Arma 3 community based on the 1st Airborne Division, specifically the 1st Parachute Brigade, 2nd Battalion. We also have an added interest in the 6th Airborne Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment. We pride ourselves on being historically accurate and providing our members with an authentic simulation experience.

Our focus is on playing highly realistic PvP events but these only come every few weeks; the rest of the time we play PvE (against AI) events.

You can expect to fight in an accurately structured section with limited equipment and no radio at section level - this is WW2!

First person is fixed and you will be expected to work in your section to the best of your ability.

We'll be taking part in historic battles that range from the start of the war to the end.

B Company

This company is the light infantry syndicate of the group. The company aims to train our members to the high standard of elite paratroopers.

All recruits are taken through their Basic Airborne Training and will learn basic infantry techniques and fieldcraft skills, amongst other subjects on the syllabus.

Soldiers within the company have a few options for the role they will take including being part of the Bren team, being a rifleman, and various leadership positions. Platoon positions include a wireless operator, a runner, and two AT Riflemen.

Support Company

This section is WIP.

We are introducing an assault element (engineers) and a weapons element (mortars and vickers) soon.

A Squadron

Within the squadron we have No.2 Troop from the 6th Airborne Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment who provide both accurate fire and intelligence for B Company with four Cromwell IVs.

The squadron are the eyes and ears of the group and prides itself on the skill at arms of the crews in both combat and observation roles.

Recruits hoping to join the squadron will complete their Basic Infantry Training (Module I) alongside B Company where hereafter they will be able to undergo their armoured training for placement within the squadron.

Squadron members will have the option to crew a Cromwell IV as a driver, gunner, or assistant driver. Should the Troopers show skill at arms and tactical depth he may be awarded with the command of his own tank within the troop.

The 6th Airborne Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment was historically made up of volunteers, some would argue these were the best men of the division. Recruits have the option of becoming reconnaissance qualified after passing the armoured crewman cadre.

Supporting Assets

Attached to the infantry are the 16th (Parachute) Field Ambulance, 4 Section. These are the medics of the group who aim to keep everyone in fighting shape.

The medics train the entire group on the ACE Advanced Medical system. Being a medic is a popular route to go down and is often highly contested - there's only a limited number of slots!

We also have No.74 "Tiger" Squadron RAF who aid the Company with transport, close air support, air superiority, reconnassiance, and logisitics.

More detail on No.74 Squadron to be added soon...
