08MAR20 - Defending the Maas (PvP)

The modpack for this event is Red Devils 7AD v6 modpack.
Please note the different modpack and the one hour later start time.
Information
This will be a PvP mission that is more friendly. We are replacing the AI in the 7th Armoured Division's mission. We will be joined by the 5th Guards Cavalry Division, also replacing AI.
Situation - The 7th Armoured Division have approached the Maas river and we, a standard rifle company of FJ, are on the other side prepared to defend our posts on the river.
Mission - With our limited equipment (1x mortar, 3x MG42s) we are to defend our OPs from any Allied attacks with an optional withdrawal to secondary defensive lines circa 500m to our rear.
Execution - Company and Platoon Commanders are still to decide on the best structure once we have received further orders.
We'll be splitting off into section-sized teams and will be assigned to individual OPs - houses/barns/light fortifications. Each section will hold their position for as long as possible - and may send out counter-attacking parties - until the likely retrograde to the secondary lines.
For any counter-attack it is likely we will receive reinforcements such as Sdkfz 251/1s and maybe even PZ4s. Prepare for some sections to be broken up to crew these at short notice. Sections will be fluid as the event goes on as we may need to reform groups.
Other - It is unlikely that any armoured assets will be encountered. If your position is overrun completely, consider surrendering for immersion - you'll be taken back behind Allied lines and then reinserted to continue fighting.
RAF - You will be given 2-3x 110 Nightfighters and tasked with hunting Allied bombers in the area that have been reported to be planning raids on nearby fortifications.
