 Lance Corporal M. Stevens exemplifies everything I am looking for in a 2IC he has taken his current role as Acting section second in command in his stride and during Operation Compass I have witnessed him command his tank with great skill and charisma that are required of a leader.
He also has not neglected doing administrative duties having been doing admin for D Troop even before his appointment to Acting 2IC all undertaken without been asked to do so.
For the first two operations of this campaign Lance Corporal Stevens took command of the troop in my absence as the Acting Troop Commander and both Platoon Commanders passed on their praise of his ability to command the troop.
