M Malimete continued to provide medical attention to multiple wounded (at least one of which was critical) despite severe injuries and immediate danger of death to himself, refusing fluid transfusion in order to save plasma for other wounded. Malimete’s quick attention to wounded and can-do attitude kept many soldiers in the fight and with a smile on their faces.
