The modpack for this event is the Red Devils v23a modpack.
Information
This a-historical event will follow American Airborne invading a Mediterranean Island, 1943.
Notes
- Italian Mountain troops defending the heights overlooking the sea.
- The Main concentration of enemy forces is in defense on the coast.
- The enemy has several anti aircraft defenses spread out.
- Artillery, whilst present in the area, likely will be quite inaccurate with poor communication as the local troops mainly use messengers to guide bombardment.
Task
(i) We shall drop on the heights to eliminate an identified Alpini camp in the mountains.
(ii) We must destroy as many anti-aircraft batteries as possible on the way to the coast.
(iii) USAAF will focus on the destruction of artillery batteries.
(iv) Seaborne infantry will land at the beach at exactly 2 hours after our drop. We must eliminate as many machine gun bunkers as possible to provide a route through.
(v) Final Rendezvous will be through the route we clear to the beach; being relieved by seaborne infantry.
