Saturday 15/09/18 - 1900 hrs UK/BST/GMT+1 This event will be using a modpack made for the PvP on the 30th. It can be found, along with the instructions for use, on our TeamSpeak 3 server in the "COOP w/ 101stAB 15SEP" channel. This is NOT the normal modpack. Information B/2/1stAB, I Airborne Corps (hereafter No.4 Platoon) and D/2/506, 101st Airborne Division (hereafter 1st Platoon) will both parachute into the AO in order to conduct offensive operations. Admin Assembly Area: D/2/506 is to prepare at the rear of the hangar and Red Devils are to prepare at the front. Leadership elements will be taken away by Sgt. Horner during the assembly phase. C. Weather First Light: Roughly 4am Visibility: Good Forecast: Clear, possibility of slight fog D. Task Organisation Each detail will conform to their own organisational briefings with Sgt. Horner obtaining command over the entire operation. - No.4 Platoon, B Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Parachute Brigade, I Airborne Corps Expected 1 Section and HQ Section - 1st Platoon, D Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division Expected 1st Squad, 2nd Squad, and HQ Squad Attached: - No.11 Troop, C Squadron, 4th Coldstream Guards, 6th Guards Tank Brigade, VIII Corps 11 BANDIT: Churchill III 1. SITUATION Enemy Forces Strengths: expected battalion size or more Locations: LA PESSAGNE (GR 0306), LA TRINITE (GR 0707), AIRPORT (0710), CHAPOI (0503) Weapons: Standard issue Equipment: Standard issue, expected Panzerfausts Morale: Slightly elevated Obstacles: None Defensive Fire Positions: Expected in towns, roadblocks possible but not sighted Air Threat: Low Likely Intentions: Hold island of MALDEN. Likely to send reinforcements from nearby fortifications to assaulted areas. Friendly Forces 11 BANDIT, No.11 Troop Other Churchills within Squadron have been destroyed, 11 BANDIT is the only remaining friendly asset within the area. 2. MISSION The battlegroup is to conduct an airborne jump onto the island of MALDEN. No.4 Platoon and 1st Platoon are to SECURE the town of LA RIVIERE (GR 0303) in order to relieve the pressure from 11 BANDIT (GR 0387 0282 - SOUTH of LA RIVIERE). The battlegroup is then to move to GR 039 045 (T-Junction / 3 Way Junction) and conduct an AMBUSH on likely reinforcements from LA PESSAGNE from the NORTH in order to hold the area to create a foothold for future operations. 3. EXECUTION A. Concept of Ops. Cmmdrs. Intent To assist No.11 Troop and use this to stage an assault on German forces in the area. The enemy should be significantly weakened in this area of operations following this operation. B. Objectives No.11 Troop Survive until reinforcement arrive, then assist the infantry platoons. No.4 Platoon DZ at GR 0203 (DZ Apple and RV Albatross) 1st Platoon DZ at GR 0401 (DZ Ball and RV Booby) 1st Platoon will move to GR 0501 to INVESTIGATE possible habitation of the LIGHTHOUSE (OBJ CRISS) JOINT OBJECTIVES LA RIVIERE (GR 0303) (OBJ CROSS) T-JUNCTION (GR 039 045) (OBJ INTERSECT) blank C. Once someone has died they will respawn at the main base where they can re-grab their kit, apply camoface, etc and will need to wait for reinsertion. Extra equipment is available. 5.
