Flying Officer J. Sax has received the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions in Operation Ladbroke. Special mention to his glider calculations got the lads to their designated L.Z.s on target and in good fighting condition. During the taking of ‘MINERVA’, German counter-offensives broke through the Battalion’s lines and came deadly close to cutting off our Company on the mountain fortress. Flying Officer J. Sax first prevented the enemy from encircling us through skilled dive bombing on convoys headed by Panzer IVs, after our Company had captured the mountain, we were set upon by strafing Focke-Wulf 190s pinning us in place until Blue Flight swept in and destroyed the enemy aircraft. Harassing machine gun positions then suppressed our defences whilst the enemy closed in. Flying Officer J. Sax not only destroyed the approaching Panzers, but strafed the enemy machine gun positions, destroying them. Through skillful manoeuvring, precision dive bombing, and pin-point accuracy, our Company was able to fend off close attacks from enemy infantry alone.

Goodspeed, separated from a partner who was killed in PvP, begins to stalk a group of 4 German players. 1 with MP40, 2 with Rifles, 1 with MG. The odds of him winning the engagement are slim to none. He stalks them perfectly by making 0 sound using foliage to conceal himself the entire time, watching them whilst concealed with brief pauses in movement to when they look outwards. He already has a plan of attack in his mind. He waits for them to all clump up. The M.G. moves over a hedgerow rise to get eyes on the position whilst the MP40 and rifles go over a plan of attack. He dashes out of his cover quickly to throw a grenade and lays down while it flies, still isn't seen. The 3 of them all take shrapnel and go unconscious. He moves up to stab all of them, the M.G. attempts to turn around to see what's going on. He wins a shootout with the M.G. whilst using a single tree trunk as cover from the M.G.s bursts. Doesn't get hit once in the engagement and makes it back to friendly lines to report the engagement to me immediately.
